The Hamilton Heights golf team finished third in a Thursday three-team meet at Bear Slide.
The Huskies scored 170, finishing behind Tipton’s 164 and ahead of Yorktown’s 173. Garrett James led Heights with a 39, while Nathan Cox carded a career-low 41. Other scores were Lance Jones 43, Vinnie Rowland 47, Ethan Millsaps 48 and Vincent Harley 48.
The Huskies play the Hoosier Conference tournament Saturday at Curtis Creek in Rensselaer.
Westfield won a three-team junior varsity match Thursday at Pebble Brook.
The Shamrocks totaled 166 to Guerin Catholic’s 171 and Cathedral’s 186. Westfield’s Clark Schwartz and the Golden Eagles’ Jack Sciaudone shared medalist honors, with each golfer scoring 39.
