The Carmel Clay Public Library (CCPL) will host its first Volunteer Fair from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24.

Adults and teens seeking volunteer opportunities will be able to speak with representatives from over two dozen local organizations. Participating organizations include the Center for the Performing Arts, Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation, and the Humane Society for Hamilton County.

“Many of our library patrons have told us that they’re looking for ways to give back to the community,” CCPL Adult Services Manager Sara O’Sha said. “When we began reaching out to area organizations, they were excited to be part of this event to connect with potential volunteers.”

The Volunteer Fair will take place at the Main Library at 425 E. Main St. Registration is not required.

More details about the event, including a list of participating organizations, can be found at carmelclaylibrary.org/events.
