The Cooper House recently received a $5,000 grant from Eagles for Children through The Club at Chatham Hills to support children entering foster care in Hamilton County.

The Club at Chatham Hills in Westfield held its first-ever Eagles for Children award ceremony on Nov. 6, celebrating local nonprofits serving children in need. Founders Kyle and Brooke Howe attended the event to receive the grant on behalf of The Cooper House.

This funding will ensure that children entering foster care receive clothing, their favorite meal, overnight care if needed, and basic necessities as they await a foster or kinship placement.

“We are so grateful to the members of The Club at Chatham Hills and the Eagles for Children program for this incredible generosity,” said Brooke Howe, who serves as the Executive Director of The Cooper House. “Every dollar will help us meet children at one of the most vulnerable points in their lives and remind them that they are seen, heard, chosen, and loved. We recognize God’s hand in this provision and give Him the glory for continuing to meet the needs of the children we serve.”

Eagles for Children is a golf-based charitable initiative that transforms every eagle scored at participating clubs into financial support for organizations that serve children.

The Cooper House exists to foster hope for families and children by providing support and encouragement in their time of crisis while helping them discover the love and hope of Jesus Christ.
