Connection Pointe Christian Church announces the grand re-opening of its Fishers location on Sunday, Sept. 7.

After a soft launch, the church has been busy this summer providing activities and fellowship outreach within the community. With a long history in central Indiana dating back to 1837, church leadership is humbled and grateful to celebrate a second site in Hamilton County.

Located at the corner of 126th Street and Cumberland Road (12625 Cumberland Road), the Fishers location will hold weekly Sunday services at 11 a.m. and provide dynamic programming for kids and students. The warm and inviting environment is a place where people can experience life-change and unconditional love.

The Fishers facility is an existing building previously known as Cumberland Road Church. Connection Pointe church leaders say they are thrilled to step into the opportunity God brought to them and continue the legacy Cumberland Road Church began by focusing on reaching more people with the love of Christ.

“We had been praying many years about Hamilton County,” said Denise McCleese, Executive Pastor of Strategy and Engagement. “As a multigenerational church, we feel God’s calling us to the suburbs, where schools and communities are focused on raising families. The next generation, our kids and students, are the centerpiece of our vision.”

The re-opening of the Fishers location aligns with Connection Pointe’s mission by providing real and lasting change through impactful worship, encouraging messages of hope, practical life application, and deep spiritual growth. With existing locations in Brownsburg, Avon, and Carmel, this Fishers location marks another step in the church’s ongoing efforts to reach more people with the love of Christ.

“We believe the best way to change the world is to raise the strongest generation,” Lead Pastor John S. Dickerson said. “That’s why we’re opening wide the doors in Fishers with a fresh vision, a loving team, and a desire to see the next generation follow Jesus boldly.”
