Carmel’s Dilk, Noblesville’s Kiser join Michigan in NCAA basketball tournament

The University of Michigan women’s basketball team will begin play in the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Tournament Sunday. The Wolverines (14-5) are seeded sixth in the River Walk regional, and will play 11th seed Florida Gulf Coast University at the Convocation Center in San Antonio.
Two players from Hamilton County schools are part of the Michigan team. Carmel’s Amy Dilk (left), the 2018 Miss Basketball, has started in 18 of the Wolverines’ 19 games this season. She leads the team in assists with 75, an average of 3.9 per game. Dilk is scoring 7.7 points per contest and pulling 4.8 rebounds.
Noblesville’s Emily Kiser (right) has played in 14 games this season. She is averaging 2.7 rebounds and 2.5 points per game, and has handed out a total of 16 assists.
