The Fishers boys volleyball team swept Guerin Catholic on Tuesday 25-15, 25-11, 25-14 at the Tiger Den. With the win, Fishers improved to 5-0 for the season. Pictured for the Tigers is Eli Buckler making a hit.
Fishers started its season Saturday with a victory at the Cathedral Irish Hilltop Tournament, winning three matches. The Tigers beat Cathedral 28-26, 26-24; Cardinal Ritter 25-17, 25-18; and Roncalli 24-26, 25-19, 15-8. Senior Henry Dufour hit 13 kills in that match.
On Monday, Fishers swept Franklin Central 25-17, 25-16, 26-24 in its first Hoosier Crossroads Conference match of the season. Dufour led the offense with 10 kills, while senior Aaron Hernandez served five aces.
The Tigers return to action on Saturday, hosting two Louisville teams: Trinity and St. Xavier.
