The IHSAA revealed the pairings for the boys tennis sectional Monday night. Play begins today.
At Carmel’s Todd Witsken Tennis Center, the No. 1-ranked and defending state champion Greyhounds will take on University in the semi-finals. The other semi-final features No. 10 Guerin Catholic playing Westfield.

Hamilton Southeastern will host the other sectional involving county teams. It will be a Mudsock battle in today’s first round, with the No. 23 Royals playing No. 8 Fishers in today’s semi-finals. Noblesville will take on Hamilton Heights in the other match.
Play begins at 4:30 p.m., with the championship match also taking place on Thursday.

Noblesville won its final regular season meet, beating Pendleton Heights 4-1 in an away match.
The Millers got a huge win from No. 1 singles Jacob Hoffman, who came back to triumph 3-6, 6-4, 10-7. No. 3 singles Zach Greer won his match 6-1, 7-6 (1). Noblesville swept the doubles matches, with Ben Smith and Evan Voigt getting a 6-2, 6-1 victory, and No. 2 Ryan Plummer and Jackson Ramey winning 6-3, 6-2.

Hamilton Southeastern finished its regular season with a 4-1 loss to No. 5-ranked Park Tudor on Monday.
The 23rd-ranked Royals got their win from Otto Lutz at No. 3 singles. Lutz dropped the first set, but came back to win the second set, then took a 10-7 super tiebreak.
“Despite the loss, this was still a good tune-up for sectional play this week,” said HSE coach Kirk Webber.
