Welcome to the Hamilton County Bicentennial Buzz Newsletter. #hamcoturns200

Happy Thanksgiving!

The Hamilton County Bicentennial Commission appreciates your support and hopes you take the opportunity to ask your family about your history as you gather together. This is a great time to go through old photos and reminisce. It could inspire you to write down or record a family story (remember, even recent history is history) about Hamilton County and submit it to the Hamilton County Bicentennial Commission for the upcoming book. Check it out here.

Last chance for the survey

The Bicentennial Commission keeps talking about the community survey because it’s important. The survey helps to figure out how to make the Bicentennial the best it can possibly be. It’s open until Nov. 30, so you’ve still got time, but don’t wait too long. Click here to go to the Bicentennial Commission home page where the survey lives.

Scan-a-thons were a success

The Bicentennial Commission is excited to share some of the scan-a-thon photos with you throughout the Bicentennial year. If you didn’t make it to one of the events, don’t worry. On the Our Book page, there’s a list of places to get your photos scanned and more information about how to submit stories and digital photos. Also, stay tuned for information about how to get your stories in if you can’t write them down. Click here for more.
