Angela Marie Alling

April 15, 1920 – November 26, 2025

Angela Marie Alling, known warmly by all as Angie, passed away on November 26, 2025, at the age of 105. Born on April 15, 1920, in North Bergen, N.J., to Peter and Rose DeParto, Angela was the spirited heart of her family and a beacon of creativity in her community.

Angela married the love of her life, Cliff, on March 27, 1947, and they made their home in New Jersey, surrounding themselves with friends and family. Angela’s reliable nature and lively spirit drew people to her, making her home a hub of activity and warmth. In her younger years, she was known for her talented cooking and baking skills, often creating dishes that became family favorites. Angela and Cliff enjoyed many pastimes together, from dancing with friends to visiting the casino, but their shared love for travel held a special place in their hearts. After Cliff’s passing, Angela moved to Atlanta, Ind., where she continued to live life to the fullest, always keeping her family and grandchildren close.

In addition to being a devoted homemaker, Angela was involved with her local Catholic Church and various community clubs, where she was known for her helpful and caring nature. Her home was filled with love and laughter, and was a testament to what mattered most to her: family. Angela is survived by her son, Bruce (Donna) Alling; daughter, Carol Jacobs; beloved grandchildren, Shelley (Becky) Jacobs, Jeff (Tracey) Jacobs, Scott (Jamie) Jacobs, Angela (Kenny) Weaver, and Adam (Andrea) Jacobs; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Peter and Rose DeParto, and her other siblings.
