U.S. Senate recognizes September 2022 as National Workforce Development Month

The United States Senate on Tuesday night passed a resolution introduced by U.S. Senators Todd Young (R-Ind.), Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), Tim Scott (R-S.C.), and Tammy Baldwin (D-Wis.) recognizing September 2022 as National Workforce Development Month.

“Americans know that, in order to compete on the global stage, we must train our workers for the jobs of tomorrow,” Sen. Young said. “By investing in workforce training, we are investing in ourselves. This resolution highlights the importance of workforce development in providing a pathway to a meaningful career and a chance to live the American Dream.”

  1. Dear Mr. Young. I am on disability and Social Security from my late husband. We have never in the five years that I have been on this. Received a raise. If we do they take it out immediately for health insurance. So many people that I talk to are hurting they are wondering do I buy medicine or do I pay my heating bills. Nobody’s bringing this up. If we have so much money to give away to other countries that would not help us at All. Why couldn’t you not help the United States senior citizens. Please stop giving our money to other countries please stop it we need so much here in the United States.
