Carmel’s Maya Fujisawa Keuling finished stroke play at the U.S. Girls Junior Championship Tuesday at Old Chatham Golf Club in Durham, N.C.
The incoming Greyhounds sophomore scored 73-77=150 over two rounds, carding a 77 during Tuesday’s second round. Fujisawa Keuling was six over par; the cut to advance to match play was three over par.
Fujisawa Keuling made three birdies during her second round, equaling her total from the first round. She made six birdies in all.

Ressie Lemmon of McCordsville is currently in a six-way tie for seventh place after the first round of the American Junior Golf Association’s McCracken Sports Junior Championship, which is taking place at the Country Club of Paducah (Ky.).
Lemmon scored a one-over par 73 in the first round, making three birdies along the way. She will tee off for her second round of the 36-hole tournament at 8:10 a.m. EDT.
