Tracey Powell, Tipton County Commissioner and candidate for Indiana State Senate District 21, visited the White House on Wednesday, March 4 and met with President Donald J. Trump in the Oval Office.
The visit comes on the heels of President Trump’s endorsement of Powell and signals strong momentum heading into the May 5 Republican primary.
According to Powell, Indiana’s 21st Senate District is ready for new conservative leadership, and President Trump’s support makes clear that he is the candidate to deliver it.
“Walking into the Oval Office and sitting down with President Trump was one of the greatest honors of my life,” Powell said. “President Trump is fighting for the American people every single day, and I am going to bring that same fight to the Indiana State Senate. I am MIGA – Make Indiana Great Again – and I am MAGA – Make America Great Again. District 21 is getting a state senator who will work hand-in-hand with President Trump to deliver real results for Hoosier families.”
