Kenneth Victor Warren, fondly known as Ken to his friends and family, was born on July 28, 1934, in Oklahoma. He passed away peacefully on December 12, 2025. Kenneth was a loving, reliable, witty, and supportive man. He was a devoted father and grandfather, and his family was his pride and joy.
Kenneth served honorably in the United States Air Force and was a lifetime member of the VFW. He spent much of his life on the open road as a self-employed truck driver, clocking in over 6 million miles. His career in logistics earned him a Safe Driving Award from Consolidated Freightways. Kenneth’s love for his profession was evident in his appreciation for the scenery and experiences that truck driving allowed. In his spare time, he loved to ride his motorcycle and listen to Hank Williams. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends at The Mound back home in Illinois.
Kenneth is survived by his children, Ricky Warren, Lauren Christianson, Robert (Kim) Warren, and Lisa Mossburg. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, who were the light of his life. He is preceded in passing by his parents, Milton and Barbara Warren; his daughter, Marla Hockman; and his siblings, Marion Biddle, Velma Dial, Norma Brown, Beatrice Warren, Earl Warren, Sherman Warren, Gene Warren, and Ben Warren.
