Everyone invited to stand against hate at Sunday’s Community Menorah Lighting

As antisemitic violence continues to occur around the world during Chanukah, the Indianapolis Jewish community at large is coming together to stand against hate and affirm shared values of unity and resilience.

On the last night of Chanukah, local elected officials are invited to join community members to light the Jewish Community Menorah, a powerful symbol of solidarity with the Jewish people.

The lighting will take place at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 21 at the Max & Mae Simon Jewish Community Campus, 6705 Hoover Road, Indianapolis.

This special lighting is sponsored by Congregation Shaarey Tefilla and Congregation Beth Shalom, with support from the Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis and the Indianapolis Jewish Community Relations Council.

Members of the Jewish community are warmly invited to stand alongside civic leaders for this meaningful moment of support and togetherness.
