Two Indianapolis men remained in the Hamilton County jail last Friday after a home burglary last Thursday morning and attack in Fishers, authorities say.

No formal charges had been filed as of Friday afternoon, according to online court records.

Fishers Police Department said in a news release shared Friday afternoon that a 911 call from the homeowner about 6:30 a.m. Thursday sent officers to her home in the 16000 block of Brookmere Avenue. That’s in the Britton Falls subdivision southeast of 126th Street and Cyntheanne Road.

“The victim stated that two men entered her home and attacked her,” the release said. “The men left the home after stealing property from the victim and fled the area in a vehicle.”

The woman was taken to a hospital for a medical evaluation and later released, the release said.
