Hamilton Heights won an all-county softball game with Sheridan 16-4 in five innings on Thursday.
The Blackhawks scored all four of their runs in the top of the second inning. Lainey Mendenhall singled in Norah Adams for the first run, then Amiyah Doss got home after Maddie Davis drew a bases-loaded walk. Abby Dallas batted in Ali Pickard for the third run, then Mendenhall scored when Adria Jump drew a bases-loaded walk.
The Huskies came back right away, putting up eight runs in the second inning. Melanee Forrester scored Heights’ first run on Audrey Cain’s RBI groundout. Lily Cash tripled in Ava Snelson and Kenley Scott, then Heather Crays tied the game with a center field hit to score Cash.
Crays got home after Taya Trosper reached on error, giving the Huskies a 5-4 lead. McKenzie Jackson singled in Trosper, Forrester sent Kamryn Rhoton home with a single, then Jackson scored on a passed ball. Heights led 8-4.
The Huskies added eight more runs in the third inning. Cain led off with a triple and Cash drove her in with a left field hit. Heights loaded the bases, and Rhoton sent everyone home with a grand slam to center field. Snelson hit an RBI double and later scored on an error, then Cash sent an RBI double into left field.
Cash was 3-for-3 at the plate and threw eight strikeouts in 3.2 innings to get the win. Dallas had two hits.
The Huskies are 5-3 and play Monday at Bishop Chatard. Sheridan is 0-2 and hosts Cardinal Ritter at 5:30 p.m. this afternoon.

Kendall Jordan’s seventh-inning home run gave Fishers a walk-off win Thursday, as the Tigers beat Harrison 6-4.
Fishers scored three runs in the third inning. Hailey Kinder doubled in Azstryd Alexander and Cate Summerfield, then was sent home by Jordan’s RBI double. The Raiders tied the game by the fifth inning, but Jordan stepped up with a solo home run in the bottom of the fifth, giving the Tigers a 4-3 lead.
Harrison opened the seventh inning with a homer to tie the game again. In the bottom of the seventh, Alexander was hit by a pitch to lead off and moved to second base on Kinder’s sacrifice bunt. That brought up Jordan, and she blasted the first pitch over the center field fence for the win.
Jordan finished the game 3-for-4 at the plate. Kate Murray pitched a complete game, striking out 10.
Fishers is 6-3 and plays at the Logansport Invitational on Saturday. The Tigers take on Rochester at 10 a.m. and Northridge at 11:30 a.m.

Hamilton Southeastern dropped a 12-1, six-inning game to New Palestine on Thursday.
The Royals scored their run in the fifth inning. Haleigh Seitz led off with a double, then scored when Addison Richmond hit a sacrifice fly.
Grace Swedarsky threw six strikeouts in four innings.
Southeastern is 6-4 and plays two games at Harrison Saturday, taking on the host Raiders at 9:30 a.m. and Crown Point at noon.
