Hamilton County Tourism has launched its second set of “Around the Table” videos and stories to promote the diverse culinary experiences available in the county. This digital initiative invites residents and visitors to learn how local restaurants, cafes, and bakeries are creating community around food.
Hamilton County is home to more than 500 locally-owned restaurants with cuisine that spans regions around the world. From fresh baked doughnuts to handmade pasta, authentic fish and chips or craft burgers, chefs throughout the county are crafting dishes for all palates.
“Hamilton County, Indiana, offers a truly unique culinary experience that combines the sophistication of big-city flavors with the charm of Hoosier hospitality,” Hamilton County Tourism Director of Marketing and Promotions Ashley Ledford said. “Whether you’re craving a classic comfort dish or bold new flavors, Hamilton County has something to satisfy everyone. Our destination is a place where people can disconnect from the hustle of daily life and find connection around great food.”
The first iteration of “Around the Table” launched in 2024 featuring video profiles of Angelo’s Italian Market, Big Hoffa’s Smokehouse BBQ, Eggshell Bistro, and 9th Street Bistro.
This year, the campaign includes new Q&A-style blogs with local restaurants, as well as four new video features:
- Convivio and Caffé Buondí: Experience sister restaurants Convivio and Caffé Buondí in Carmel, owned by Italian-born Andrea Melani. Diners can start their day at Caffé Buondí, which features artisan coffee creations and an elevated brunch menu. Then for dinner, Convivio combines fresh ingredients with traditional Italian cooking techniques, offering handmade pasta, wood-fired pizzas and seasonal dishes.
