Addison Dollahan has been selected as a Lilly Endowment Scholar from Hamilton County for 2025. Her statement upon receiving the honor follows.

“I just want to say I am extremely grateful and honored to be chosen as a Hamilton County 2025 Lilly Endowment Scholar. It is an incredible blessing to be chosen from such a talented group of students being named as finalists.

“I first want to thank my parents, Stacey and Steve Dollahan, for their continuous and unwavering support of me and all my passions. I also would like to thank my family and friends, my Hamilton County community, and all the teachers and professors that have had a powerful impact on me from Ms. Christian’s Preschool, Sheridan Elementary and Middle School, to present day at Culver Academies. You each inspired me to reach higher and strive to be my best self all while giving back to others.

“Lastly, thank you to Culver Academies. My home away from home. Culver helped me to develop into a servant leader. My educational journey is now full of experiences and lessons that are valuable for my future. A special thank you to every counselor, dorm mom, librarian, professor, the entire theatre and band department. Without you my Culver journey would not have be possible.

“I plan to study Biology in College and also Minor in Technical Theatre. I look forward to one day being a Pediatrician in Indiana. Thank you to the Hamilton County Community Foundation, Central Indiana Community Foundation and Eli Lilly for your belief in me and my future.”
