MadeLabs makes move to Fishers

Remote-first technology consulting firm plans to expand team in 2024

MadeLabs, a technology consulting firm, has relocated its headquarters to Fishers. This move comes as part of the company’s strategic plan and commitment to better serve clients across the country.

The remote-first company currently employs 25 full-time staff in seven different states, with plans to hire five to 10 additional team members in 2024.

Co-founders Nicholas Barger and Adam Broadbent were drawn to Fishers because of the growth they’ve seen in the city, as well as the proximity to premier academic institutions with strong engineering talent. The thriving business community and support from local organizations and government were also influential in the decision-making process.

“We are excited about the opportunities that come with our move to Fishers,” Barger said. “Not only is it a great place to work, but it also felt like a great place to raise my two daughters, and we had some family already living in the area who helped show us all the great amenities Fishers has to offer.”

MadeLabs advises companies on how to build impactful and profitable software solutions. With deep experience in industries such as aviation, supply chain and medical devices, MadeLabs is well-positioned to help midsize and enterprise companies with their technology strategy.

“Even though we work with clients throughout the United States, we believe the Midwest is a region with extreme potential and we’d like to support it any way we can,” Broadbent said. “This move will not only allow us to better serve our existing clients but also enable us to expand our reach and establish new partnerships.”

In addition to working remotely, MadeLabs will operate out of Launch Fishers, where they can have in-person meetings and do other collaborative work. Fishers is known for its business-friendly environment and commitment to fostering entrepreneurial growth, with more than 600 members currently involved with Launch Fishers. Launch Fishers is the largest co-working space in the Midwest, offering opportunities for entrepreneurs to innovate and collaborate while “launching” their ideas into the world.

“We have been very intentional with our efforts to bring entrepreneurial-minded people together in Fishers, both at Launch Fishers and the Indiana IoT (Internet of Things) Lab,” Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness said. “We are excited to see MadeLabs continue to grow in our city and look forward to their successes this year and beyond.”
