Westfield girls golf team prevails at Hall of Fame Classic

The Westfield girls golf team triumphed at the 21-team Hall of Fame Classic, which took place last Saturday at The Legends in Franklin.

The Shamrocks totaled a team score of 305 and had two players land in the top 10. Addi Kooi went three under par to score a 69 and finish in third place. Kelsey Haverluck added a 74, placing 10th.

Noblesville was the team runner-up with 310. The Millers had consistent scores across the board, with Olivia Fowler and Olivia Anderson both carding 77. Josie Kelley and Karis Shields both finished with 78.

Hamilton Southeastern placed fifth as a team with 312. The Royals had the meet medalist in Janelle Garcia, who dominated the course with a five under par 67. Sophie Roberts added 76.

Maddie Headlee led Carmel with 75, while Ali Scott led Guerin Catholic with 81.
