Suzanne Crouch, a Republican candidate for Governor in Indiana, has been awarded a perfect ‘A’ rating from the National Rifle Association (NRA) for her steadfast advocacy of the Second Amendment.
“As a gun owner and proud member of the NRA, I am honored to receive this perfect rating from the NRA, reflecting my unwavering commitment to protecting our Second Amendment rights,” Crouch said.
This includes her support of Indiana’s constitutional carry law, which eliminates background checks and firearm registration while maintaining safeguards against those prohibited from carrying firearms.
“As governor, I️ will remain committed to championing every Hoosier’s constitutional right to carry, especially women’s right to self-defense,” Crouch said.
Crouch highlighted alarming data showing that 50 percent of women will be sexually assaulted in their lifetimes and said that she was among those women.
“I️ was working as a realtor in my mid-20s when a man put a gun to my head and said, ‘We can do this the easy way or the hard way,’” Crouch said. “This harrowing incident reinforced my belief in the fundamental right to self-defense. It is imperative that every Hoosier has the means to protect themselves.”
Crouch’s dedication to safeguarding citizens’ liberties has garnered widespread support, with over 150 grassroots leaders and more than 20 county sheriffs endorsing her gubernatorial campaign since its inception in December 2022.
Crouch’s commitment to Indiana’s prosperity also includes her pledge to eliminate the state’s individual income tax, a measure that would save the average Hoosier $2,000 in state taxes.
