Sen. Braun voting no on $84B Ukraine foreign aid bill

Senator Mike Braun (R-Ind.) released the following statement Thursday on the $84 billion Ukraine foreign aid bill being voted on in the Senate.

“Today, Senate Republicans joined with Chuck Schumer and Joe Biden to tell the American people that foreign borders are more important than American borders,” Braun said. I’m voting NO.”

    That is a cop out as you voted down the border money as well. If we want to help keep the world safe we need to stand behind Ukraine and their democracy. You are just playing political football with Ukraine.

  3. I don’t believe there is any money in this bill for the border wall. I do not support any money going to Ukraine or Israel. Israel receives $6 billion from the US every year. Let them fight their own war along with Ukraine.
