Sen. Banks introduces Restoring Biological Truth to the Workplace Act

Submitted by Office of U.S. Senator Jim Banks

Banks

Senator Jim Banks (R-Ind.) introduced on Thursday the Restoring Biological Truth to the Workplace Act.

According to Sen. Banks, across the country, including in Indiana, employees have been wrongfully fired, penalized, and discriminated against in the workplace for dissenting from radical gender ideology. This legislation works to restore common sense in the workplace by protecting those who express the truth about biological sex under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

“This bill is about protecting common sense,” Sen. Banks said. “Americans shouldn’t fear losing their jobs simply for acknowledging the basic reality of biological sex.”

Key provisions of the bill

  • Clarifies that Title VII protects employees who express the binary nature of sex, whether inside the workplace or outside of it.
  • Clarifies that Title VII protects the right of employees to use single-sex bathrooms and changing areas in the workplace.
  • Establishes penalties for employers that retaliate against any employee who speaks out against discrimination based on the rights above.
  • Bars employers from using pretexts to violate these rights.

    To Banks;
Try doing something meaningful for the majority of people you represent instead of just trying to ingratiate yourself to a minority of people who you think will help you to stay in office. People care about social security, Medicare, Medicaid, energy costs, etc. Quit wasting our time and work on significant things. Try working on ‘the greatest good for the greatest number’.

People should not be scared to voice their displeasure in your performance as an employee of ALL the citizens’ of Indiana.

  4. Banks is a hateful man. It’s all smoke and mirrors to distract us from the government limiting our rights to free speech, freedom of the press and freedom to peacefully assemble. Distract from billions of dollars in tax breaks to billionaires and billion dollar corporations. You may not feel it in your life yet, but you will.

Here we go again! Another elected, official wasting taxpayers money and time on something that is unnecessary. I wanna know what he’s doing about Medicaid? What is he doing about supporting our troops? What is he doing about taking care of those whose voices are small? Those are things I’m worried about.

  6. Once again, our leadership is using their biases and ideologies to waste the time of Americans. Couldn’t he address the slashes to Medicaid? How exactly will this help anyone besides just harassing Hoosiers?

  7. “Sen Banks, what kind of important legislation have you been working on to further the prospects of the American people & the citizens of Indiana ?”

Banks ; “I’ve authored a bill that will provide relief for those who feel pressured in the workplace to include gender identifying pronouns in their email signatures ! ”

    ..

  8. Medicaid was mentioned here three times. I support cleaning out the individuals who are not qualified to receive medicaid, who are not elderly or who are not in great medical need. During the Biden/Harris regime many illegal aliens who invaded our country during their administration were given Medicaid monies – as much as $74,000 non taxable – maybe even more. More than likely these are the illegal protesters who will lose the American cash cow. We don’t hear about this on main stream media.
