Lines at many polling locations across Hamilton County were well over an hour long on Election Day. At others, there were only brief parts of the day when voters had to wait more than a few minutes. Not only did many people wait long to be heard, but Harold Collins of Arcadia (above left) loaded up his walker on the front of his Craftsman lawn mower to ride in from the edge of town to cast his vote. In all cases, that is serious dedication to the process of democracy!
