Trends in Hamilton County’s early voting

There’s no doubt that, across the United States, more voters choose to cast their ballot early in each election cycle. Hamilton County is no exception.

We thought it would be useful to compare this year’s numbers with those from past elections. Three lists with early voting data appear below:

  1. Primary elections
  2. General elections
  3. Municipal elections; while those election years do not include every voter across the county, the data are still interesting.

Note that the vote totals for midterm years appear in red to highlight the trend, since this is a midterm election year. Data are courtesy of the Hamilton County Election Office.

However you voted this cycle, thank you for taking part in preserving our republic.
