The third phase of the Reimagine Pleasant Street project, which includes Pleasant Street from River Road to the new roundabout at State Road 32, is now open to traffic.

The intersection of SR 32 and Hague Road was reconstructed into a multi-lane roundabout. Phase 3 also included a new bridge over Cicero Creek and new road construction from River Road to SR 32.

“As we near completion of the Reimagine Pleasant Street project, completing this portion is another major milestone,” Noblesville Mayor Chris Jensen said. “We have seen the positive impact Reimagine Pleasant Street has had on Noblesville so far and look forward to its full completion that has been four decades in the making. When complete, this new east-west corridor will enhance the quality of life for everyone traveling to and through our city.”

The Reimagine Pleasant Street project also incorporated several trail connections throughout Noblesville. These improvements provide connectivity for three major trails to enhance the pedestrian and bicycle network through the heart of Noblesville.

As part of Phase 3 construction, new pedestrian tunnels were installed under SR 32 and under Pleasant Street to provide safe crossings for the Midland Trace Trail and Hague Road Trail. These new trail crossings are in addition to the Midland Trace Trail extension, which now connects with the Riverwalk Trail and Nickel Plate Trail.

Please note the Midland Trace Trail is not yet open between SR 32 and River Road. It is anticipated to open by the end of November, weather dependent.

Phase 2 construction continues on Pleasant Street from 13th Street to 19th Street. When it fully opens to traffic, Pleasant Street will provide a critical east-west connection from SR 32 to SR 37 for Noblesville.
