Dear Editor:

As a second-generation Noblesville High School graduate, my roots in this community run deep. My grandparents called Noblesville home for more than 30 years before my mom and I made it our permanent home in 2009. At 30 years old, I care deeply about the future we are building for the next generation. That is why I support Devon Wellington for Indiana House District 29.

Let’s face it, education is an investment in our entire community. Strong schools are essential to its future! As the daughter of a former teacher, I’ve seen firsthand how critical it is to support our educators and schools. Devon understands the importance of properly supporting public classrooms while holding real-world experience ensuring no child gets left out of an education. Strong schools create more opportunities for students while helping attract families, businesses, and positive influences to our communities.

Opportunity also means addressing rising living costs, skyrocketing healthcare premiums, and childcare expenses that put pressure on working families. I believe in Devon’s ability to work collaboratively with fellow representatives to advocate for her constituents and pursue practical solutions to aid fellow Hoosiers.

I am proud of my roots in Noblesville and hopeful about what this community can accomplish together. I encourage fellow District 29 residents to look at Devon’s platform and do your part to research who will be your voice for YOUR future!
