Heartland Film brings back Merry Movie Nights Presented by Edward Jones for a second year. This mini-movie series will showcase holiday films at the Arts for Lawrence’s Theater at the Fort, 8920 Otis Ave., Lawrence, on Dec. 7, 8, 9, and 10.
Tickets are $7 for adults and just $5 for kids and students. The four-day series will feature six festive films. Each screening includes a merry activation like wine & chocolate tasting before The Holiday, a live comedian before Christmas Vacation and cookie decorating and Santa before Home Alone.

- White Christmas Sing Along Screening: 6 p.m. on Dec. 8
- Die Hard with Twinkies: 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 8
- Christmas Vacation with Live Comedian Opener: 5 p.m. on Dec. 9
- Home Alone with Cookie Decorating & Santa: 2 p.m. on Dec. 10
- It’s A Wonderful Life with Ugly Sweater Contest: 5 p.m. on Dec. 10
“Classic movies are the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit,” Heartland Film President Michael Ault said. “We’re excited to invite people to come together to watch their favorite films on the big screen with some festive surprises!”
