Whitney Coker, an attorney who grew up in Fishers, has been named an Indiana Super Lawyers: Rising Stars Honoree for the fourth year.
Coker graduated from Hamilton Southeastern High School and went on to study at Indiana University in Bloomington. She graduated with a degree in social work in 2007. As a social worker, she focused on working with children and families. During her time as a social worker, she saw the impact dedicated and knowledgeable attorneys have when they fight for their clients.
Coker went on to attend Indiana University McKinney School of Law and received her Juris Doctor degree in 2015. During law school, she served as an editor for the Indiana Health Law Review, board member of Equal Justice Works, and received the Norman Lefstein Award of Excellence for pro bono service.
She began working as a law clerk for Craig, Kelley & Faultless, where she became an attorney after being accepted to the Indiana Bar. Today, she is a partner at the firm, working alongside other lawyers to represent the victims of serious commercial vehicle wrecks.
Craig, Kelley & Faultless is a personal injury and wrongful death law firm headquartered in Indianapolis, with offices throughout Indiana and in St. Louis. Coker and the other attorneys help injured people receive financial compensation after they’ve experienced a wreck caused by a semi or other large truck.
The firm has attorneys licensed to practice in Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Ohio, Kentucky, Iowa, and Tennessee. Coker works with clients after litigation has begun, through mediation and all the way through trial if their cases do not settle.
This year, Coker was named on the Indiana Rising Stars list by Super Lawyers – an honor that only 2.5 percent of the state’s attorneys receive. To qualify for the list, an attorney must be younger than 40 or in their first 10 years of practice. They must be nominated by another lawyer, researched by Super Lawyers, and evaluated by peers.
Coker is one of 10 attorneys at Craig, Kelley & Faultless, all of whom are 2025 Indiana Super Lawyers or Rising Stars honorees.
