Elnora Osler, 100, Carmel, formerly of Tipton, passed peacefully in her home, Friday, November 4, 2022. She was born August 18, 1922, in Elwood.
Elnora was a 1940 graduate of Frankfort High School. She married Paul W. Osler on December 14, 1940. While living in Tipton, Paul and Elnora were members of the West Street Christian Church.
Elnora was an avid reader. She enjoyed social activities such as Bridge and Euchre. In earlier years, Elnora sewed her own dresses and other clothing. She also spent time knitting afghans and blankets. Elnora and Paul were great supporters of their grandson, Jimmy’s sporting events.
Memberships included Eastern Star, Radiant Chapter #200, and Carmel Christian Church, of which she was a member more than 40 years.
Elnora was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Osler; daughter, Cathie Reamer; brother, James Sumner, and sister, Mary Jane Lewis.
Survivors include her son, John Osler; grandson, James Reamer, several nieces and nephews.
