Duke Energy’s support allows for $5 rides
Nickel Plate Express (NPX) has announced a unique opportunity for train enthusiasts, families, and history buffs alike.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 2, NPX will offer family-friendly caboose rides on the historic Monon caboose. Train rides will depart from Hobbs Station in Noblesville’s Forest Park, where passengers will have the chance to step back in time and appreciate the nostalgia of early rail travel.
Thanks to the generous support of Duke Energy, tickets for this event are available for just $5 per person. Climb aboard the iconic red caboose and immerse yourself in the rich history of the Railroad, which once connected Indiana’s small towns and bustling cities.
Each ride will last approximately 20 minutes, departing from Hobbs Station in Forest Park and returning to the same location. Passengers will be able to take in the picturesque scenery, including going over the White River in downtown Noblesville.
Don’t miss this rare opportunity to ride on an authentic piece of Indiana’s railroad history. Tickets will be sold onsite on a first-come, first-served basis.
NPX looks forward to welcoming you and your family aboard the historic Monon caboose for an unforgettable journey.
