Crew of 68 NEMS students to stage “Annie Jr.”

Noblesville East Middle School presents its fall musical, Annie Jr., Nov. 15 to 17 at Ivy Tech Auditorium in Noblesville.

Show times are 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 15 and Saturday, Nov. 16, and 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 17.

The musical is based on the story of “Little Orphan Annie,” and revolves around Annie, who as an infant was abandoned on the front steps of a New York City orphanage with a note from her parents promising to return for her someday. Life in the orphanage is rough under the strict hand of Miss Hannigan, but Annie’s life is about to change when billionaire Oliver Warbucks invites Annie to spend Christmas with him in his mansion, and together they discover new happiness.

The musical features a cast and crew of 68.

Directors include Jordan Rattenbury, director; Claire Hanrahan, costume director; Rick Towle, technical director; Dylan Lewis, production assistant; and auditorium manager, Angela Vitosky-Staggs.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and go on sale to the public on Friday at this link.
