Letter to the Editor:

When I hear the name Beth Sheller, the words that immediately come to mind are honest, exceptional, and driven.

I have had the pleasure of being Beth’s close friend and colleague for the past eight years while working together at Hamilton County, and I am excited to share my perspective on the qualities and experiences that make Beth an exceptional candidate for Hamilton County Clerk.

We need someone leading the Clerk’s Office who will oversee an election office that does the right thing and upholds the highest standards of integrity. Beth is that person.

When Beth takes on a task, she doesn’t simply complete it, she does it well. She is organized, provides strong leadership, and makes sure that work is completed accurately and effectively. Above all, she is diligent and driven. She is a forward thinker who continually looks for ways to improve processes, work more efficiently, and make things better.

Although Beth and I had been workplace acquaintances, I really got to know her while we attended a leadership course together at Ivy Tech. I was especially impressed by her clear communication, high level of integrity, and strong sense of accountability. Her positive energy was inspiring to me, and I am confident that same energy will inspire her team to do their best work.

It will be an honor to serve alongside my friend and colleague over the next four years. I wholeheartedly encourage you to vote for Beth Sheller for Hamilton County Clerk.
