County continues to see decline in new COVID-19 cases

Data released by the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) on Wednesday indicate Hamilton County continues to see a decline in the number of new daily COVID-19 cases.

ISDH reported 133 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, Jan. 19. Tuesday’s number was the lowest since early November. The most reported single-day new COVID-19 cases came on Dec. 2, 2020 with 482 cases.

A total of 28,818 COVID-19 cases have been reported in the county and 162,489 tests have been administered. A total of 314 people have died in Hamilton County as a result of COVID-19.

The top 3 county zip codes with highest COVID-19 cases by percentage of population are:

  1. 46074 (Westfield) – 12.23 percent
  2. 46037 (Fishers) – 10.98 percent
  3. 46062 (Noblesville) – 10.53 percent
