Cole Steven Biddle

July 22, 1991 – December 22, 2025

Cole Steven Biddle passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Monday, December 22, 2025. Taken too soon at 34, Cole was born on July 22, 1991. He resided in Arcadia and graduated from Hamilton Heights High School in 2010.

He is survived by many friends and family, including his mother, Lori and stepfather Doug Grishaw; his brother, Eric (Kasey) Biddle; and his father, Anthony Biddle. His beloved nieces, Blakelee and Bryn Biddle, were the apple of his eye.

Other survivors include his uncle’s, Mike (Alicia) Lynch, Wes (Shaunna) Grishaw, and Brian (Sherri) Grishaw of West Virginia. He had a very special relationship with his cousins Vivian, Hazel, and Michael Lynch Jr.

Cole loved the outdoors and especially looked forward to the cold, snowy winters each year. He spent many seasons plowing and playing in the snow. Cole always found a way to bring home a new toy, most recently a side-by-side. His “ride or die” and partner in crime, his mom, was able to take him on a final joy ride before his health declined. Cole proudly served as a reserve police officer for many years, honoring the uniform just like his stepfather. He was extremely proud to follow in his footsteps. In the warmer months, you could catch him strolling the streets of Arcadia and Cicero in his freshly wrapped golf cart, compliments of his brother.

Cole was an avid card player who loved a good game of Euchre or Skip-Bo. He never missed an opportunity to call out a misplayed hand. Competitive to the core, Cole was both a sore winner and a sore loser; either way, his opponent didn’t stand a chance. Before his passing, Cole was able to check a few things off his bucket list, including attending a Cincinnati Reds game this past summer. He called it one of the best days of his life and left with a Reds jersey proudly bearing the name “Biddle” on the back.

Cole was truly one of a kind. He had a huge heart and loved fiercely. Once you made it past his tough exterior and became one of his people, his loyalty was unwavering. One thing always remained true: if you needed him, no matter the time or place, he showed up. He had a close-knit group of friends that supported and loved him through the last two years, and he called them family.

The heavens rejoiced the day Cole came to know the Lord and was baptized. Welcoming him home are his grandparents, Jimmie Joe Lynch Sr. and Sammie Kaye Lynch, John and Linda Grishaw, great-grandparents, Arcy and Jean Garmon, and his uncle, Jimmie Joe Lynch Jr.

Hartley Funeral Home is honored to care for Cole and his family during this difficult time. Visitation will be held at East Union Christian Church in Atlanta on Monday, December 29, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with the service immediately following. Pastor Mark Knapp will preside. Burial will take place at Tipton Fairview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to “Shop for Kids” at 176 W. Logan St., Suite 116, Noblesville, IN 46062, an organization Cole held close to his heart.

“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” – Isaiah 41:10
