Start your summer off with some great laughs & hometown musical performance

Popcorn and Punchlines Comedy Showcase is returning to Westfield on Friday, May 29. Featuring eight outstanding comedians from six different states and Canada, it will be held at the IMMI Conference Center, 18880 East St.

Doors open at 6 p.m. A pre-comedy musical performance will start at 6:30 p.m. The comedy’s on at 7 p.m.

An unforgettable pre-comedy musical experience will be given by Fishers’ own Peter Fulton. His music focuses on performing classic, romantic, and popular vocal music. He returns by your popular request!

The host for the evening is comedian Rhonda Corey. Hailing from Rhode Island, she truly embodies the New England spirit. It’s no wonder that her authenticity with a twist of lovable sass has resonated with audiences from Rhode Island to California and back to Indiana!

Coming all the way from Franklin, Ind., Hoss Ridgeway brings his mix of storytelling, sound effects, and musical comedy creating an interactive show that feels like hanging out with a funny friend.

Leland Klassen grew up on a small farm in Saskatoon, Canada, but his journey later took him into stand-up comedy and performing in feature films.

June Bug Colson is a comedian, writer, and podcaster born in Indiana and raised in Kentucky. June holds the prestigious title as 2020’s Nashville Clean Comedy CHAMPION!

Tim Ketchersid is a former lawyer and pastor from Dallas, Texas, who was named one of DFW’s “10 Comics to Keep on Your Radar” by the Dallas Observer.

Dorie McLemore hails from Texas, is a story teller and joy-bringer who believes that caffeine is keeping her alive, popcorn should be its own food group, and that true joy comes from knowing that we are worthy of God’s love in the middle of our imperfections.

From Arizona, Brian Kohatsu spent 20 years as an award-winning director before stepping away from the camera for a career in comedy. He quickly found success in radio and gained national recognition when he was featured on Sirius/XM radio.

Comedian Christy Conder has performed at Zanies in Nashville as well as being the warm-up comedian for The Huckabee Show in Hendersonville, Tenn.

CrossRoads Church’s next BIG event is their incredible Wild, Wild Westfield Fall Fest and Premier Chili Cook-Off, set for 4 to 7 p.m. Sept. 26, 2026, on the church’s campus at 19201 Grassy Branch Road, Westfield. It features Hamilton County’s best chili, games and inflatables for children, live band music, and Manny the Mechanical Bull.

For the past 10 years, CrossRoads Church at Westfield has sponsored the popular February event, Pizza and Punchlines. The church also provides free pet food every first Saturday of the month from 9 to 11 a.m., free Zumba every Tuesday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 8 a.m., Shepherd Center’s Together Today for senior adults every Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., a 24/7 food pantry, free Kids Coats give away in November, and Celebrate Recovery, a faith-based recovery program, every Thursday night from 6:15 to 9 p.m. on their campus at 19201 Grassy Branch Road, Westfield.
