Aspire Indiana Health’s expansion of crisis services has been recognized with two Champions of Health Care and Quality Awards from the Indiana Primary Health Care Association (IPHCA).
The Rely Center in Noblesville, a psychiatric urgent care and stabilization center for people experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis, received the Behavioral Health Program of the Year Award in its first year of operation. Senior Director of Crisis Services Kaitlyn Ervin won the Behavioral Health Provider of the Year award for her leadership in behavioral health integration at Rely and Aspire’s broader crisis continuum, which also includes mobile response units and a 24/7 crisis phone line.
Opening in October 2025 thanks to a $3.5 million investment from local taxpayers by way of the Hamilton County Council and Commissioners, Rely has served more than a thousand Hoosiers in crisis, with 19 percent of those being youths. Most crisis continuum responses were resolved without elevating to a higher level of care, diverting 47 percent of those in crisis who would otherwise have gone to an emergency room or psychiatric hospital.
“Kaitlyn exemplifies the clinical leadership that strengthens both patient care and the people delivering it,” Aspire Chief People Officer Dr. Gina Forrest said. “Working in crisis services requires a unique combination of clinical skill, steadiness, compassion, adaptability and leadership. Kaitlyn brings each of these qualities to her work every day.”
The annual IPHCA Champions of Health Care and Quality Awards honor individuals and organizations that have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, and commitment to community health in Indiana.
Rely Center is located at 17840 Cumberland Road in Noblesville and is open 24/7 to anyone experiencing a crisis. The center accepts Medicaid and Medicare, as well as most traditional insurance. Even if someone has no insurance or ability to pay, they will not be turned away from care.
Aspire is a Federally Qualified Health Center and Indiana Community Mental Health Center with clinics in Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Madison, Marion, and Shelby counties.
