Franklin College students completed internships during Immersive Term, the month of January.
The college requires each student to complete an internship, practical learning, or undergraduate research experience as part of their undergraduate experience. These experiences play a pivotal role in helping students to build the skill sets necessary for their post-graduate careers.
More than 95 percent of Franklin College students complete a formal internship prior to graduation.
Students from Hamilton County who completed internships and the businesses that hosted the students include:
- Justin Case, a business management major from Westfield, completed an internship at York CDJR of Plainfield in Westfield.
- Amber Dawson, a psychology major from Sheridan, completed an internship at Department of Child Services in Noblesville.
- Eagan Keever-Hill, a sports communication major from Noblesville, completed an internship at National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in Indianapolis.
- Kayla Nance, a psychology major from Noblesville, completed an internship at Native Tongue Communications in Los Angeles, Calif.
- Owen Ogle, a business management major from Carmel, completed an internship at Flanner Buchanan Funeral Center in Indianapolis.
- Jilian Schlieper, a biology major from Carmel, completed an internship at Earlham College Athletics and Wellness Center in Richmond.
