‘Blazers complete PAAC North Division sweep

The University boys completed a sweep of the Pioneer Conference North Division with an easy 79-11 win over Anderson Preparatory Academy at The Hangar in Anderson.
University scored the first 12 points of the game and held the Jets scoreless for five minutes on their way to a 19-2 lead after the first quarter. The running clock was in effect for the entire second half as the Trailblazers led 47-7 at halftime.
The Trailblazers had four players in double figures, with Robert Russell, Andre Ozlowski and Larry Pierce each scoring a dozen points. Kahmi Bracey had 11. Ten Blazers scored in the contest.
University improves to 10-6 with the win and are off until Saturday, Feb. 5 when they will host sectional rival Heritage Christian in a 2:30 matinee. University finished PAAC North play at 4-0 and will travel to Park Tudor on Feb. 12 in search of their fifth consecutive PAAC championship game victory.
