The Hamilton County Historical Society will host “A Salute to Veterans.” Beginning Oct. 9 and running through Nov. 14, the History Museum will showcase military uniforms from our nation’s 250 years.
Hamilton County veterans have served in our nation’s military dating back to the Revolutionary War. “A Salute to Veterans” will display uniforms worn or owned by Hamilton County residents from the county’s earliest days to modern times. The uniforms are presented in conjunction with the Clay Township Military Library and Museum in Carmel and other generous veterans throughout the county.
The Hamilton County Historical Society Museum in Noblesville is free for tours and open to the public from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. It will also be open at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, in honor of Veterans Day.
