Rickie Lee Woods, Sr., 76, Noblesville, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025, at Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis. He was born on September 13, 1948, to Archie and Annabelle (Coverdale) Woods in Noblesville.
Rickie proudly served in the United States Army and was past commander of Post Legion 45 and a member of the VFW. He was the #1 Fan of the Miller Nation and he enjoyed fishing. Most of all, Rickie loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his children, Francis (Mike) Alberts, Brian Woods, Carol (Mark Brooks) Montgomery, and Rickie (Jessie) Woods, Jr.; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Tim (Leona) Woods; and sister, Louella (Layton) Boatwright.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Woods; sister, Dolly Feltz; brothers, George Woods, Terry Woods, and Archie Woods, Jr.; and great-grandsons, Joshua Woods and Cody Goodman.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St., Noblesville, with Rev. Stanley R. Sutton officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
