Jill Alice Fleenor, 83, Noblesville, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 25. She was a woman of gentle wit and tireless dedication to those she loved and the community at large.
Known for her smart mind, compassionate heart, and sense of humor, Jill was a beacon of support to everyone fortunate enough to cross her path. She spent her life in the service of others, particularly within her community in Noblesville, where she resided for many years. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those she left behind.
Jill’s journey was one marked by resilience and grace. She was born on Sunday, November 9, 1941, to Wilson and Myrna Barr in Neenah, Wis. On September 24, 1988, she married her soulmate, Jim Fleenor, and together they built a life filled with love and laughter. She brought her intelligence and caring spirit to her role as Director of Volunteer Services at Riverview Hospital, where she positively impacted countless lives. Upon her retirement, she continued to contribute to her community as an active member of the Moose Lodge in Noblesville, the Cicero American Legion, and the First Christian Church.
Outside of her professional and community endeavors, Jill found joy in simple pleasures. She was an avid two-stepper, a fierce Bingo competitor, and a Euchre enthusiast, often engaging in friendly games with family and friends. She loved traveling, visiting family in Wisconsin and Michigan, and tending a bountiful tomato garden. Above all else, Jill cherished her family, dedicating her life to creating a nurturing, supportive environment for her loved ones.
