Synopsis

The original “enemies to lovers” story, Lizzy Bennet has no interest in playing the traditional courtship game. With her sharp wit and rebellious spirit, she’s on a mission to dodge loveless matrimony while chuckling at everyone else’s romantic misadventures. Enter Mr. Darcy: the human embodiment of everything she can’t stand – prideful, arrogant, and with enough rudeness to make even a cactus seem cuddly. Yet, as Lizzy soon finds out, first impressions can be trickier than trying to dance in Regency-era attire without tripping over your own feet. Adapted from Jane Austen’s classic by Kate Hamill for the stage, this tale reminds us that sometimes you have to dig deeper before deciding someone’s character – or lack thereof.
