Nickel Plate Express Holiday Light Railbikes Adventure debuts in November

Nickel Plate Heritage Railroad announces a new attraction for the holiday season: Holiday Lights Railbike Adventure, starting Nov. 14 and running through Jan. 2, 2027.

Perfect for guests of all ages, this new, exciting attraction invites visitors to bundle up and take in the scenery along a stretch of the historic Nickel Plate rails.

Enjoy a new holiday tradition

Guests will begin their adventure at a festive boarding area in Forest Park, located just south of Hobbs Station. The area will be transformed into a destination complete with beautiful light displays, festive atmosphere, cozy firepits, and the check-in point for all the fun: Santa’s House!

While onboard the railbike, guests will pedal through an astounding 60-foot light tunnel, enjoy a stop for hot chocolate and a cookie, and make amazing memories that are sure to become a part of their new holiday-season tradition.
