ISO announces must-see lineup for 2024 Kroger ‘Symphony on the Prairie’ series

Mark your calendars for summer fun at Kroger Symphony on the Prairie. The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra (ISO) has announced a thrilling lineup for the 2024 season designed to make your summer sizzle.

Tickets for the 2024 season of Kroger Symphony on the Prairie will be available starting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 23. Concerts begin June 28 and will be offered through Labor Day weekend at the Conner Prairie Amphitheatre in Fishers. Click here to see the complete schedule. There’s something for everyone with 21 concerts to choose from.

Buy tickets on the ISO’s website beginning April 23. Tickets may also be purchased at most central Indiana Kroger stores, at the Hilbert Circle Theatre Box Office at 45 Monument Circle, Indianapolis, or by calling the Box Office at (317) 639-4300. Purchase tickets to three or more concerts and automatically receive a 10 percent discount, no code needed. Discount is calculated at checkout.

Don’t sweat the weather forecast – you may exchange your tickets before the start of the concert. Season highlights include 11 performances by the ISO, taking you on a unique musical journey through the classic rock pantheon, disco grooves, soulful sensations, and time-honored traditions.

The season opens with Windborne’s the Music of Queen (arranged by Brent Havens and conducted by Martin Herman) on June 28 as Broadway star MiG Ayesa delivers a fabulous rendition of Freddie Mercury’s vocals, amplified by a rock band and the talented musicians of the ISO. On June 29, conductor/arranger Brent Havens presents another can’t-miss symphonic rock hybrid: The Music of Led Zeppelin featuring vocalist Randy Jackson, who captures the spirit of legendary Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant.

From July 3 to 5, the Star-Spangled Symphony is back with patriotic fanfare and fireworks, featuring conductor Alfred Savia leading the ISO.

Get ready to dance as conductor Enrico Lopez-Yañez heats up the stage with Disco Fever July 12 and 13. Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly brings the best of legendary film composer John Williams July 19 and 20. Acclaimed singer Capathia Jenkins performs the greatest hits of soul and R&B in “She’s Got Soul” July 26 and 27, with music by Whitney Houston, Gladys Knight, Adele, and many others.

The 2024 season also features the popular Face2Face with the music of Billy Joel and Elton John, plus musical tributes to ELO, Jimmy Buffett, ABBA, Bob Seger, Taylor Swift, Tom Petty, Tina Turner, and the Beatles.

On Aug. 2, Evil Woman: The American ELO brings your favorite ELO songs to the stage, including “Don’t Bring Me Down,” “Turn to Stone,” “Can’t Get It Outta My Head,” and more.

Don your captain’s hat and join Yächtley Crëw on Aug. 10 as you sing along to soft rock hits from the ‘70s and ‘80s, including “Ride Like the Wind” by Christopher Cross and Toto’s “Africa.”

On Aug. 17, ISO calls on all Swifties to sing your hearts out and sport your Taylor-inspired attire for a sing-along party.
