The Westfield Young Professionals held its October Coffee with the Chamber event at THE Club at Chatham Hills. Duke Energy’s Dagny Zupin was the featured speaker, sharing information on the company’s sustainability goals and energy efficiency incentives.

Zupin reported that Duke Energy is pursuing the largest transition to cleaner energy in the state, retiring more coal this decade than any other Indiana utility. The company is taking a balanced, thoughtful approach, keeping customer rates and service reliability top of mind.

Zupin also highlighted the incentives, rebate and energy audit programs available to commercial and small business customers. Businesses may be eligible for equipment and renovation incentives covering lighting, HVAC, pumps and more. Organizations interested in taking advantage of the programs can learn more or schedule an energy audit at duke-energy.com/business/products/smartsaver.

The next Westfield Young Professionals event is Oct. 25 at Crafters Pizza and Brewhouse, 2430 E. 146th St., Carmel.
