Even a (hopefully) last blast of winter weather and a day with white-out driving conditions could not keep Republicans away from the 2026 Hamilton County Republican Party Lincoln Day Dinner held at Embassy Suites, 13700 Conference Center Drive South, Noblesville, on March 16. A total of 712 seats were sold, many of whom came specifically to hear NCAA Swimmer & Women’s Sports Advocate Riley Gaines give the keynote address (above left). She spoke at length about her own experience with male-born trans athletes competing in women’s sports, a discussion which received two standing ovations.
