Not to sound too corny, but Hoosier Scouts from Crossroads of America Council are pretty awesome. Popping up everywhere are community supporters purchasing popcorn from local Scouts, hungry to earn their own way through the BSA program.
Locally, two Westfield Scouts were invited to sell as much Trail’s End popcorn as they could to Mayor Andy Cook on Wednesday, which kicked off their annual fundraising efforts.
Each year, Scouts sell Trail’s End popcorn to raise money that will help fund their Scouting trips and necessary equipment. For 2022, Hoosier Scouts are expected to sell $3.1 million worth of popcorn, generating $2 million for central Indiana Scouting. You can buy popcorn from Scouts at storefronts and in your neighborhood right now!
