Tower returns to HSE as Co-Athletic Director

Drew Tower is returning to Hamilton Southeastern.

Tower will be back as Co-Athletic Director for the Royals, effective May 1, it was announced in a news release on the HSE Athletics website. Tower returns as Jim Self moves into a new role, serving as Athletic Director for the City of Fishers and Hamilton Southeastern Schools.

Tower will work along side Tilmon Clark, who joined HSE Athletics this school year.

“Mr. Tower brings extensive experience in athletic leadership and a deep commitment to education-based athletics,” said the news release. “Prior to joining HSE, he served as Athletic Director at Brownsburg High School, where he oversaw a large, successful athletics program and led teams and student-athletes to multiple state championships and developed pathways for greater character and leadership development.

“A New Castle native, Tower was a standout multi-sport athlete before continuing his career at Taylor University. He later transitioned into coaching and athletic administration, building a reputation as a relationship-driven leader focused on developing student-athletes both on and off the field.

“’I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to return to Hamilton Southeastern,’ said Tower. ‘This is a special community with a strong tradition of excellence. I’m excited to reconnect with and support our coaches, student-athletes, and families and to continue building programs that develop young people both in competition and in life.’

HSE Principal Dr. Craig McCaffrey said in the release, “We are very excited to welcome back Drew Tower to Hamilton Southeastern Athletics. I have watched Drew lead at Brownsburg and at HSE and I am excited to work with him.”

“Please join us in welcoming Drew, Abby, Hank (8) and Beau (5) back to Hamilton Southeastern High School,” the release concluded. “We look forward to the continued success of Royals athletics.”
