Reporter cartoonist Tim Campbell of Carmel (above, third from left) – who is also nationally syndicated by Counterpoint – recently participated with two other cartoonists in a panel hosted by the American Association of Editorial Cartoonists in Columbus, Ohio. The panelists discussed “Cartooning in a Post-Truth World.”
When it comes to creating a good cartoon, Campbell argued that he aims simply to make people think about the news. “I’m not trying to get people to think as I think,” he said, “but simply to get them to start thinking.”
